Letters of appointment – Policy transfers

In instances where a Policyholder wishes to transfer their policy from one Broker to another, either a letter directly from the Policyholder or new Broker needs to be provided and emailed to agency@commercialexpress.co.uk

The letter will need to contain the following information:

  • Full name and address of the policyholder
  • Policy number
  • The name and address of the Broker they would like to transfer to
  • Policyholder’s signature or in the case of a business the letter should be signed by a director or business owner. If there is an outstanding premium on the Policyholders account, confirmation of which Broker will be responsible for settlement of that premium
