Paul Ingleby goes the extra mile for his volunteer day at Race for Life

Paul

A big shoutout to Paul Ingleby, who used his volunteering day to support Race for Life the other weekend.

Paul stepped up as a race marshal, helping guide over 4,000 runners across the 3k, 5k and 10k courses. He even responded to an on-site injury and coordinated an ambulance when a runner turned his ankle. Not exactly your average Sunday.

In Paul’s words:

“I was at my marshal point early, making sure runners took the right route at a key junction. I ended up clocking around 28,000 steps across the day, including running the 5.5 miles there and back. Safe to say my legs were battered by the end!”

It’s great to see our team using their time to give back in ways that matter to them. Well done Paul, and we hope your legs have recovered.
